A rose has been commissioned to commemorate the League from Robert Harkness of Hitchin, Herts and is called Guy's Gold

Guy's Gold was launched at the 2008 Chelsea Flower Show and is now available for purchase.

Harkness have issued the following description of the rose for marketing and publicity purposes

During its six years of trials this rose has proved itself one of the earliest into bloom, and remarkably quick to repeat. It produces wave upon wave of bold canary yellow. The effect is fresh and bright, suitable for any garden situation, and fantastic for cutting stems for indoors.

Colour quality is rich and pure, eventually softening to light yellow. Growth habit is erect and densely branched. Foliage is glossy and leathery, forming a dense foil of mid-green as a background for the blooms. Resistance to disease is good.
