Guy's Hospital Nurses' League website

hallo to all visitors to this website. I am very keen to know who is visiting the website and why. The website could be so much more interesting with more input from ex League members and ex Guy's nurses. So many of you have memories and stories to tell and it would be great if I could publish them here.

If you are looking for information that is not appearing on the website please also let me know and I will do my best to provide it.

The League closed at the end of 2010 but the website will continue - You can still send your news, articles, photos, obituaries etc. to GHNL2010@aol.com or post your messages on the Guestbook section on this page (left hand side)

Regional re-unions of ex League members and other Guy's nurses will also continue after the League closes - see this website for details.

You can also still have your set re-unions at Guy's - contact the Hospitality Department

The Benevolent and Scholarship Funds will also continue to be available for those who fit the criteria - see details2 on the left hand side of this page.

The Officers are hoping to organise a special commemoration of the League - watch this website for news.

League event!

On 27th April 2012  at 3pm the League is holding a service in Guy's Chapel to celebrate a beautiful plaque ,commemorating the League, that has been placed in the foyer of the Chapel. Do come and join us. This may well be the last ever League service in the Chapel so it would be great to have a full house! 

HOUSE OF LORDS LEAGUE RE-UNION!

At the July 10th celebration Lord McColl invited League members to dine with him at the House of Lords.

He felt that it would give League members the opportunity to meet up again for another very special occasion.

This has been organised for 17th July 2012****

The cost will be about £75

It seems that at least 3 people a day are looking at our website. I have not had time to add anything recently so apologies to those who may visit regularly. I would really like you to contribute to the website so if you have a story or memory of Guy's or photos or would just like to update us with what you are up to please send it to GHNL2010@aol.com and I will add it to this site.

If anyone is a computer whizz! (I sadly am not!) and would like to help me improve the website please let me know and I can give you access rights.

The League Officers have commissioned a lovely plaque which is going to commemorate the League in the Guy's Chapel. We are planning a commemorative service probably sometime in September - if anyone is interested in coming do let me know.
